Players can complete the daily challenge without creating an account. Progress and completion are stored on the player’s device.

Player data

Dermdle stores completed cases, scores, streaks, and aggregate personal statistics in browser storage. Clearing site data removes that local history. Dermdle does not offer player profiles, social feeds, comments, chat, or leaderboards.

Operational data

The hosting platform processes limited security and reliability logs needed to operate the service. Dermdle does not use cross-site advertising identifiers or build advertising profiles from gameplay.

Clinical content

Players cannot upload images or request diagnoses. Administrator uploads remain in protected storage and follow a separate publication workflow for reviewed, de-identified derivatives.

Last updated August 31, 2026. This policy is reviewed whenever Dermdle’s functionality or data handling materially changes.
